Drug and Alcohol Rehab Programs
Drug and alcohol rehab programs at Pacific Hills Treatment Centers have been designed to offer comprehensive dual diagnosis addiction treatment in a variety of forms to meet the spiritual, physical, and psychological needs of each individual.
The drug and alcohol addiction treatment programs offered by Pacific Hills are not only Christian based rehab programs, but also traditional rehab programs for the individuals who are at a variety of different stages in their faith and relate to God based on their own interpretation. This approach allows Pacific Hills Treatment Center to relate to those looking for a faith based drug and alcohol rehab program to grow in their recovery from addiction as well as their own spirituality. Pacific Hills Treatment Center also offers gender specific recovery programs proven to be a powerful approach to addiction treatment, placing individuals with members of their own gender promoting openness in their therapy and ultimately leading to recovery from drug addiction and alcoholism.

Our programs are so successful because we focus on:

- We offer two distinct, yet overlapping 12-Step programs: Christian and Traditional. The Christian program presents a Christ-centered, biblical approach to recovery, while in the Traditional program, we allow the client to begin his journey of faith based on God as the individual may currently understand Him (as presented in Alcoholics Anonymous).

- Co-Occurring Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitaion
- While most treatment programs provide behavioral and abstinence curriculum, our comprehensive approach to treatment begins with an evaluation of the client's psychological, physical and spiritual needs. Appropriate support for these issues is then structured accordingly for each client's routine and is blended into their overall program.

When I entered Pacific Hills Treatment Center for women in Capistrano Beach, California in 2005, I was just about without hope of ever recovering from my disease of alcoholism and drug addiction. I had detoxed prior many times- in hospitals and at home with a physician- supervised program, and I had already completed 30-day treatment programs at two previous rehabs. I wanted desperately to be clean and sober, and learn how to stay that way. I had a lot to live for- I had two young sons that needed their mom back. I was sick in every way- physically, emotionally and spiritually.
While I was detoxing once again in a hospital, I kept hearing a women that was visiting another patient talk about her own recovery and her experience with Pacific Hills. She appeared so healthy and happy. I wanted what this women had. I used the hospital phone to call Pacific Hills. I can’t even remember what I said- I was weeping and shaking- but I remember that the person I spoke to comforted me so much. He arranged my pick up and stay at Pacific Hills almost immediately.
What I found at Pacific Hills is hard for me to even put into words. The amount of gratitude that I feel when I try to do so is absolutely immeasurable. I found the most incredible group of women that I still refer to as my “goddesses”. They saved my life so, so much more. The combination of love, strength, tenderness, firmness, knowledge and experience was exactly what I needed at exactly the right time. The experience was my “godshot”. I know that I would not be alive and clean and sober today-almost five years later- without the women of Pacific Hills.
They gave me hope and love immediately. They had me following rule, listening and taking instructions and even laughing and enjoying myself (something I had not done in a very long time) soon after. We did lost of written work, attended almost daily 12-step meetings and hiked on the beach where we meditated and did yoga. We ate scheduled delicious meals together, and numerous informative lectures and panels and attended church together.
I stayed in the residential treatment program for 45 days, and did the intensive out patient program Pacific Hills offers for another 90 days (which I highly recommend).
Since leaving Pacific Hills, I have maintained continuous sobriety, and have physical, emotional and spiritual health. I am a very grateful member of the Alcoholics Anonymous. My family and I have more joy and peace than I could have ever imagined. I have maintained in close contact with the women at Pacific Hills. Whenever I need an informative answer of help of any kind with my program or my life, Pacific Hills is always right there for me with guidance that I always know that I can truly trust.
